An important message to our customers:
We're making an update to how SMS credit usage is displayed for longer text messages.
Beginning October 1st, you'll continue to be able to send messages up to 612 characters. However, longer messages may use more than one SMS credit based on the length of the message. Before sending, you'll see exactly how many SMS credits your message will use, giving you greater visibility and control over your communications.
This update is designed to provide a clearer view of SMS credit usage and create a consistent experience across our messaging platforms.
With this enhanced visibility, you can confidently decide whether to:
- Send your message as written
- Edit or shorten the message
- Choose another communication channel
What's not changing:
- You can still send messages up to 612 characters.
- Your existing SMS messaging capabilities remain available.
- You'll have greater transparency into credit usage before sending
