Groups are how you segment individuals in your database. Think beyond traditional gatherings, such as small groups. You can also use Groups to segment people strategically by their relationship to your ministry (new visitors, members, etc.), check-in or attendance, interests, and more.

Understand Group Feature Icons

On the Groups List screen, the Settings and Actions columns include icons with tooltips that let you quickly identify which features are enabled for a Group.

Icon Guide

  1. Individual Attendance icon Attendance-Enabled Icon: Allows staff or volunteers to take attendance digitally. Useful for small groups and gatherings.
  2. Check-In Enabled icon Check-In-Enabled Icon: Check-In is enabled. Print name badges or check-in receipts with security codes as needed.
  3. Group Finder Enabled icon Group-Finder-Enabled Icon: This Group appears in the Group Finder, which can be embedded on your website or accessed through the integrated Mobile App.
  4. Pencil Edit icon Pencil-Edit Icon: Opens the Group Settings screen to manage Group Information, Check-In, Attendance, and more.
  5. Clone Group icon Clone-Group Icon: Clone (duplicate) a Group to save time when creating similar groups.
