Before You Begin

- Required Role/Permissions: Access to Giving Detail report and Group management
- What You’ll Need:
- A previously created group (or ability to create one)
- Access to Advanced or Query Search
- Understanding of your church’s giving and membership structure
Steps
- Create a Group of Active Givers
- Navigate to Reports → Giving → Detail
- Use the filters to select a time range and Group(s)
- Click Apply to view the filtered results
- Add These People to a Group
- Click the tri-dot menu icon
- Select Add or Remove from Groups
- In the dropdown under “Take Action on these People,” choose an existing group or click Add A New Group
- Name the group (e.g., “Active Givers”)
- Click GO to add the people to the group
- Find People Not in the Group
- Go to Advanced Search or Query Search by clicking on the funnel icon at the top
- In the Not in Groups filter, select the group you just created
- This will list all individuals who are not in the Active Givers group, i.e., those who have not given
- Add Non-Givers to a New Group (Optional)
- Use the tri-dot icon again to add these individuals to a new group for tracking or follow-up

- Apply Additional Filters (Optional)
- Filter by adults, primary & spouse, or membership status to refine your results

Important Notes
- Group creation is essential for comparison-based reporting
