To add a donation to an Individual record, navigate to Individuals and search or click on an individual’s name. Click the Giving tab and then select + Giving Entry.
- Select the Category (this can be custom named like 'Fund' below) from the drop-down list.
- Enter or select the Date the contribution was made.
- Type in the Amount of the donation and add a Check Number if that information is needed.
- Add a Note of 'Cash' if that was the donation type instead of a check. Making a note of 'Cash' or 'cash' at the beginning of this field will trigger the filter in the giving reports to find that donation type.

Click SAVE to complete the donation entry.
