How to Display Your Calendar in the Mobile App

Overview

Promote your events and make it easy for users to access registrations or sign-ups by displaying your calendar in the MinistryOne mobile app.

Getting Started

Prerequisite: Enable a Public Calendar View

Steps to Display Your Calendar

  1. Access the MinistryOne Settings
  2. From your ChMS Database Home Screen or ChMS Calendar, click on the 9-Dot Menu and choose MinistryOne.

    • If redirected to your Giving Software login screen:
      • Log in.
      • Click the Settings Gear in the top-right corner.
      • Select the MinistryOne Tile.

  2. Enable ChMS Integration
    • Navigate to App Settings and turn on Enable ChMS Integration.

  3. Enable the Calendar Module
    • From the sidebar menu:
    • Go to Modules > Enable Modules.

    • Locate the Calendar module and click the toggle button to enable it.
  4. Select the Calendar Feed
    • Click on the Calendar Module in the left-hand sidebar.

    • Toggle on Calendar Feed from ChMS Integration.
    • Select the Public Calendar View you want to display.
    • Note: If no views display, ensure the desired view is set to Public within your ChMS.
  5. Toggle on Display event images to show the images on the Event Form.

 

How Your Calendar Will Appear in the App

  • Open the MinistryOne App on your smartphone and select the Calendar menu item.
  • Events will populate in a clean, user-friendly view for your church community to explore.

  • Users can click an event to view details and interact with it, such as accessing registration forms.

Important: The Event Feed updates approximately every 15 minutes. When adding new events, allow a short time for updates to appear. Refresh the app if needed.
